Reading what the body is signaling when a woman has been told her labs look normal.
“Everything came back normal.”
“I was a scientist calling for my husband from the bathroom floor because I literally couldn’t stand.”
Seven months pregnant, Kaylan was losing weight and blacking out, and for months she was told her labs were normal and it was just stress. A doctorate in chemistry and good healthcare access did not get her heard. She had to figure out for herself that she was severely anemic.
“If the system couldn’t see me, a scientist with resources, what about everyone else?”
The Vessel Approach is what she built next. It does not diagnose, and it never takes the place of a doctor.
One kind of data was never going to be enough.
Bioenergetic
- Full-body signal scan
- Read against her own baseline
- Terrain and stressor patterns
- Non-invasive, from home
Clinical labs
- Results she brings from her own provider
- Full thyroid with antibodies
- Inflammation and metabolic markers
- Nutrient and mineral status
Biometrics
- Sleep architecture and HRV
- Resting heart rate trend
- Continuous glucose
- Cycle and basal temperature
Read separately, they disagree. Read together, she knows where to start.
Anyone can order a panel. Anyone can sell a wearable. What almost nobody does is read three unlike kinds of data against each other, because there has been no method for doing it, only three separate reports and a guess about which one to believe.
The Vessel Approach is designed to be that method. The patent application covers a proprietary analysis layer that puts bioenergetic signal, clinical chemistry and daily biometrics on one timeline, weights them against her own history rather than a population average, and returns a single ordered protocol instead of three conflicting opinions.
Seven modules. Forty claims. Filed and pending.
Today we offer the bioenergetic wellness scan and holistic nutrition protocols, and we read any labs a client already has. The scan is not a lab test, does not measure hormone levels, and does not diagnose. Wearable and glucose connections, starting with Oura, are on the roadmap.
Clients are already paying. The studio is next.
Assessments
A mailed sample kit for a bioenergetic scan and a written report. The Hormonal Blueprint adds a written protocol built for her.
The studio
Lease letter of intent signed. Red light and lymphatic therapy at opening, infrared sauna and PEMF planned, and three membership tiers ready to launch.
The app
Built in-house to carry her scan history and her protocol between visits, with a planned AI Coach that reads her own data back to her in plain language.

A 2025 Black Ambition Prize winner.
The Well Place was one of the 2025 winners, awarded $50,000 by Black Ambition, the nonprofit founded by Pharrell Williams to back Black and Hispanic founders. The award included a $25,000 SAFE investment in the company.
In June 2026 she joined the Louis Vuitton Learning Lab in Paris. This year she was also selected for Black Ambition’s Alumni Edge Program, an eight-week growth accelerator for prize winners with mentorship, direct investor access and a follow-on funding opportunity of up to $1 million for top participants.
She came to women’s health by way of analytical chemistry.

Kaylan is a first-generation PhD in bioanalytical chemistry and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and her working life is method validation. That is the discipline of deciding whether a measurement can be trusted before anyone builds a decision on top of it. It is an unusual place to start a wellness company from, and it is why this one says plainly what each tool can and cannot do.
She built The Well Place for the woman she was on that bathroom floor: told everything was normal, still unwell, with no one reading all of it together, against her own history, instead of one result at a time.
So she designed the method she needed, and then she filed a patent application on it.
On file since April 2026.
An international application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty, with an April 2025 priority date. Seven modules, forty claims, covering an analysis method designed to read bioenergetic, clinical and biometric data as one. The application and the NANONOURISH™ trademark, allowed at the USPTO, are held by the founder.
Built so the next woman is heard the first time.
Let’s talk.
